My Girl Gang

More often than not, as you get older you develop a close group of friends who are there for you through everything. They are there for you in the good times and the bad, when it's time to celebrate and when it's time to vent and drink. Finding your girl gang is important because they are the group of women who you can see being in your life for years to come. I am luck because my girl gang is made up of so many different people in many different walks of life and I cannot imagine my life without them.

I've never really got along with people my own age. I've always been way better friends with anybody and everybody older than me. So when I started working at a daycare and met Katlyn and Tayler I wasn't surprised when we hit things off. When we all left the daycare we still stayed close and continued to have our coffee dates, nights out at the bars, friends-givings, and celebrating birthdays. These two have made the last year so much fun! I am beyond thankful for them and I know that no matter what we will stay close throughout the years. Katlyn and Tayler have made the biggest impact on my life and are truly some of my favorite people to talk to. I love our endless tick tock videos that we send back and forth to each other. Even though we are all going our separate ways for right now, we will make trips to see each other often!! I love you guys!!

Sara was someone I never saw coming, she snuck up on me. We had hung out before but when I started working at the daycare was when we really became close. She became one of my favorite people to talk to, to vent to, to hang out with, and to bullshit with. She is one of the people in my life I am extremely thankful for. Sara and I have both had so many problems happen this semester of school and we have been there for each other through them. She has never once let me believe that I am alone and I refuse to let her think she is alone either. She is someone that when I walk down the isle she will be right beside me making bad decisions with me.

Alli is someone that when we met I thought she was the sweetest thing ever! We have recently grown close and I cannot imagine my life without her. She is such a genuine soul and she cares about her friends fiercely which inspires me beyond belief. Alli has been there for me when I felt alone. When my car left me stranded she gave me rides to my student teaching school not once but twice and she never once let me forget that she was rooting for me. I love Alli so much! She will also be one of those people walking down the isle with me making bad decisions.

My girl gang is made up of people from different walks of life. They all are on different paths and they are all amazing women who I look up to. They have been there for me in different ways and are people that I will not allow to be forgotten. We will say in touch after I move and we will continue to get together for birthdays, events, and the important things in life. I can see us 20 years from now still doing friendsgivings.
